QD Tech, Inc. is a Salt Lake City, Utah based firm having an experience base of over 30 years in the design, fabrication and installation of custom core and rotary equipment for the exploration drilling industry. QD Tech Tools and Equipment has extensive worldwide experience ranging from Antarctica to above the Arctic Circle combined with Sea Floor Coring depths of 5800 meters to High Altitude Barge and Surface Mineral Exploration above 12,000 feet.
QD Tech, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Utah in April 1997. QD Tech, Inc. is owned by Elaine M. Pardey. Marshall Pardey is the President.
In 1997, QD Tech, Inc. began by designing custom core sampling tools used for scientific, geo-technical, and mineral exploration. The tools were used to collect core samples in difficult environments such as ice, bedrock, and sea beds. Over the years, QD Tech has expanded their operation beyond designing these systems, to manufacturing these systems in house. We currently have a general machine shop and a weld shop with light fabrication capabilities.
For the past several years, QD Tech, Inc. has focused on expanding their operation and their customer base to service any number of fields. We currently provide machined or fabricated parts to customers in a variety of different industries – from canning and bottling to medical. We have two engineers that are readily available to assist with design or any other specific customer needs that arise. Our work load ranges from custom design and prototype products, to multiple product production and repetitive product manufacturing.
We are continually working to improve our processes, and always looking for ways to improve on quality and efficiency. We strive to stay competitive while continuing to provide excellent quality products to our customers.
